A: Audition for any dances in which you might be interested.  Because of the number of dancers typically present, we do not recommend auditioning for dances you are NOT interested in being in (as much fun as it is, this makes it harder for the choreographer to see everyone).  Before you head out, we ask you to fill out your audition form, in preference order of how you’d prefer to be cast. This is an important step! Be realistic about your ability level. If you are a beginner dancer prioritize dances that specify Beginner, All, or Beginner/Intermediate levels. Although you may desperately want to fouette through an advanced piece, if it does not match your skill level, it may be hard to find the right fit. Show up early to auditions to get a lower audition number. We cast in numerical order.  Make sure to bring hydration and snacks!  You may come and go throughout the day depending on your own schedule, but be back to the space about 10 minutes before your next audition!
