1st Position Scholarship

Steamboat Dance Theatre 1st Position Round 2 Application window is open October 15- October 31 2025.

Applicants will be notified by Nov 15th, with funds disbursed before December 1st.

In order to, serve as many families in the community as possible, we have implemented the following guideline limits for this scholarship round. Please be aware that we expect to have more requests for funding than we can possibly fund within our budget. With this in mind, please be mindful and realistic with your requests. If you have need that exceeds these limits, please use the notes section in the application to explain details.
Maximum scholarship funds per individual $800
Maximum scholarship funds per family $1500

Open to Routt County Youth ages 3-17 seeking financial assistance for Routt County regional semester-based classes.

• To qualify, the classes must be semester-based group lessons.
• Applicants must be registered for the dance classes included in their application.
• This application is NOT for winter production financial assistance (ie: Nutcracker).

Please note: If you are applying for scholarships for more than one dancer, you must complete an application for EACH dancer. Please DO NOT combine dancers into one application.

IF AN APPLICATION IS SUBMITTED OUTSIDE OF THE APPLICATION WINDOW, IT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THAT PERIOD. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS MAY NOT BE ACCEPTED; BE SURE TO COMPLETE IT IN ITS ENTIRETY.
